EVER WONDERED WHAT DANI DIVINES EPITAPH WOULD BE? AND WHO SHE WOULD LOVE TO TURN FIRST IF SHE EVER BECAME A VAMP? READ ON......   

So who is Dani Divine? Have you always had a dark side? 

You could definitely say that. I've always been "different" from my peers growing up, and I grew an interest for darker mu- sic and fashion in my school days. I found my place in the London goth scene at a very young age and that's really where it all went right.   

When did you start the fire performing? and what made you get into the art? 

My first experience being on stage was on the catwalk at some of my favourite fetish events. Dancing, burlesque, and performing were the next natural steps. Fire is such a sexy and dangerous art. I've created shows based around many dif- ferent themes, ranging from horror to cute and kinky. Aside from being on stage, I love the creativity that goes into outfits and props, many of which I hand make.

You have travelled all over the world performing, which counrty do you have the most love for? 

I have a handful of favourites for different reasons. I love performing around Europe and in my time off exploring the old towns, markets, and tasting fancy beers.. I was spending quite a bit of time in the US before the lockdown. I love LA as there is always so much going on, it's really easy to make friends and I was incredibly busy with work. I am also big into warm weather and avocados, so those are a few California bonus points.   

Favourite event to perform at? 

"Conclave" by Endless Night. The event takes place in an old Castle in the Alps of Austria, surrounded by a thick fog, exclusively to a tight-knit community of Vampires from all over the world.

What do you class as success?   

My only measure for success is reaching my own personal goals. I think it's important to remember that there is always going to be someone above your level, and someone below. For me, getting an O1 US work visa for extraordinary talent was a huge marker of my success - almost a commemorative for my hard work over the years. But with each goal reached, the goalpost always moves!     

If Hollywood made a movie about your life, whom would you like to see play the lead role as you?   

I would have to be played by someone who can nail my British accent. Angelina Jolie would be my number one choice. I also think she would pull off my outfits.. Now that I would like to see.

If you were a vamp who would be the first person you turn?  

My boyfriend.. I wouldn't want killing him to be a permanent risk factor in the relationship, I can definitely see that getting in the way. And I like the idea of having a sexy companion to hunt with.     

What do you think would be a fitting epitaph on your gravestone?   

"Finally, a day off"   

What's the future for Dani Divine? 

As for events and performances of course everything is still on hold. But I'm hoping that travel will continue to open up over the next few months so I can get back out there. In the meantime I will very soon be launching some new wearable merch! And that's all I will say for now.. Thanks for having me!
