“ DOWN AND DIRTY IN DEEP ELLUM"
It's the Hobo Jack TBT guys! This week we're taking you back to March 2019. The Texas tour! Deep Ellum to be precise in downtown Dallas, this small district is the Hobo's favourite place to date, filled with vibrant street murals, quirky art galleries, tattoo studios and endless dive bars, this was a perfect fit. The trip came about as our resident photographer Danny Woodstock had a feature in Texas based Tattoo magazine Worldwide Ink. After speaking with the founder of the magazine (Art) the Hobo's thought it would be a great opportunity for a collaboration so it didn't take long before the trip was booked. Upon arrival it was only right that the Hobo's got around town in a Mustang GT or so they thought, in fact it wasn't this piece of horsepower that proved to be the preferred mode of transport for the duration of the trip! This was the discovery of Lime scooters which have now landed themselves on these shores, the app based scooters could be seen all over town and once the app was downloaded the Hobo's were away and the boys could often be seen whizzing along Elm street on these little bad boy's. We managed to link up with some great locals to showcase the collection including tattoo artist Jeremy Gandy who was a resident at the dope studio Artistic Encounter on Main St. We hope you like these images, We love you Deep Ellum! Until next time! (Probably in the summer.)
